About Us

Who We Are

Ricwog Projects is a business currently based in Midrand, Gauteng province, with the intention to expand to other provinces in South Africa and eventually globally, focussing mainly on manufacturing bags and other sewing projects.

The company started operating on a small scale and informally in 2014, sewing and selling mainly imibhaco (Xhosa traditional outfits) and accessories as well as heat-retaining bags from a small room at home. Due to the increase in demand, and increase in passion for sewing, a company was officially registered in 2016 by Mrs Nomanono Carol Qasha, a born again child of God, who was encouraged, inspired and trained to sew and fully utilise her God-given talent and capabilities by elderly women at church.

“Mothers from Alexandre Assemblies of God really inspired me and took it upon themselves to train me, they prayed for me, and instilled in me the entrepreneurship mindset and spirit, at that point in time I was fully and happily employed, but I eventually resigned in order to be fully focussed on the business. I will forever be grateful to God for making my path cross with these Powerful Women of God. I would like to mention specifically my mentors in sewing, prayer life and/salvation journey, namely: Mrs Nkolisa, Mrs Siyabi, Mrs Kruger, Mrs Tutane, Mrs Jack and Mrs Mahlakatha as well as Pastor Mavimbela for continuously interceding for us“

With Experience Comes Quality

As the founding director of Ricwog Projects, Mrs Qasha brings experience of approximately 20 years from the corporate environment, starting from humble beginnings as an accounts payable clerk to managerial level.
